As a citizen of the western society I am well aware of the benefits that my family and I receive from just existing in this society. Especially in Australia where the safety net of unemployment benefits and family support payments abound we have little to complain about. We do though like to complain. Life could be better. We could have more money, things, friends, successes, and time. When I get caught in such cycles I like to remember the troubles of others. Some nations don’t have any sense of what luxuries that we take for granted. One organisation that works hard to make a difference in these countries is Compassion. Compassion provides the ability to sponser children in need. This gives these children a higher chance for survival and also Compassion ensures they are exposed to the good news of Jesus Christ.
