In Singapore these are becoming the trend but what I seem to see most couples going for are Coffee Table books.

There are hard covered books with thick pages only has around 18 pages with photos laid out very much similar to the designer albums.

Thanks, the albums are what we call in Australia Magazine designer albums. They are like photobooks but they have the thick 0.7mm pages instead of the thin book style.

Ah so it was you posting comments on my blog. Cool! I really like the new blog and the photos you have up are really great.

I especially like the new albums which are basically photo books. Very nice.

Hey there found your blog via other blogs and I have liked what I have read so far so I have RSS-ed you.

Sometimes I wish there were more trade type courses like what you are undergoing in Singapore, as I think it will be good for me to be hands on considering I spent most of my life in corporate pursuit and less time doing handyman type things. So good on you for taking that challenge. I would like to one day do the same. I hope.

Thanks for visiting and providing your input Michael. The suggested use of different WB settings per scene was driven around being a simple step of many to cut processing time in Lightroom. However, your suggested actions in your blog with using gray cards would be more accurate for synchronising white balance. I see an edit is required

Interesting post, just a comment about RAW. The advantage of using shooting RAW is that the white balance setting on your camera is irrelevant since in you can adjust it in Lightroom very easily, so I would suggest shooting in Auto and correcting it later. When shooting JPEG, you have to be more concerned about getting the white balance right before you shoot.
